She also loved the balloons and hot dogs.Having the trucks roll in and have to unload people and gear really gives all of us a sense of how much work is involved in just being ready to turn the hose on!Thank you for a great afternoon and a bigger thank you for all the great work you do all year around for Nichols!The Debrosky Family1601 Huntington Turnpike

Comments :	GREAT SITE! GREAT MEMORIES!I was a volunteer along with my brother, Charles Choun and my father, Robert J. Choun, Sr. during the 1960’s.Both Charles and my Dad slept at the Fire House every night for years and responded to many house, car and forest fires! My most vivid memory was walking through the park adjacent to Beech’s Pool and Beech’s Memorial Park for over 24 hours with a tank on my back trying to put out fires that had gone underground! The fellowship of the guys and food were also super! THANKS FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES! And oh! The STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL held at the Standley’s house every summer was to die for!
